Sugilite Round Beads

We have several strands of these interesting beads that we purchased as sugilite. We examined them and found them to be dyed--breaking a bead open showed the inside to be light colored material and the purple coloring was only on the surface of the bead. So we will call these faux sugilite (since we don't know if the original material is sugilite.)
